Alchemic Beard Mastery arrives!

March 20, 2015

I am super pleased to present something I felt was sorely missing from my line: beard products!  These took about 6 months to research and formulate, and then another 6 months to test and tweak.  I employed beards from family members, Warcraft guildies, and even complete strangers to test the products and provide feedback.  FINALLY I am perfectly happy with both products, which means they are now for sale.  =)

No. 13 Beard Oil is formulated from 13 ingredients chosen specifically to treat not only your beard, but also the skin beneath!  This beard oil is a powerhouse of restoring, smoothing, softening, and conditioning.  It repairs damage, seals your strands, and protects from future breakage.  It prevents dry skin, flakiness, redness, and itchiness. The essential oil blend provides all natural anti-bacterial and anti-microbial properties, hair growth stimulation, soothing, and more.

No. 18 Beard Balm is created with 6 soft oils, 6 butters and waxes, and 6 essential oils all especially selected to bring your face the best beard possible.  No. 18 Beard Balm provides the same benefits as the oil above, but the addition of hard butters and wax provide heavy-duty conditioning along with a bit of shaping and hold.  The beard balm is also more travel friendly- the tin fits easily into a pocket!

The two questions I am asked very often are, "What is the difference between the two?  Which should I choose?"

This will depend on what you are looking for as well as your beard length.  Most beards can benefit from using both products.

For short beards, goatees, etc., you may be more interested in softening the hair and eliminating skin itching and "beardruff."  If you had to choose one product, I would recommend the beard oil.  The beard oil is better at targeting your skin than the balm is.

For larger beards, you may be interested in shaping and hold in addition to softening and soothing.  The beard balm contains hard butters and a bit of wax to allow you to shape your beard.  For larger beards, I would recommend the beard balm for daily use and the beard oil as more of a weekly or 2x a week treatment to really nourish your beard and facial skin.

Check out the product pages for even more information about these new items.  I can't wait for you to try them!
