Shop Update: looking to 2025

It is with a heavy heart that I make several announcements. 

I don’t need to tell anyone about the economy, but the fact is that ABS is no longer able to support me. I am currently seeking full-time employment outside of the household, and my available production time will be greatly reduced.

While I intend to keep my store active and you will continue to see me on social media, restocks will only be 3-4 times a year at most. I will continue doing a couple of local craft shows that I enjoy. (AOY and Bear Creek Lakes!) Still, batches will be smaller and more infrequent. 

Next, I have fought against raising prices for so long, but it’s part of why things have become unsustainable. Not everything will be going up, but soap, body butters, and sugar scrubs will be increasing by $1-$2. 

Lastly, I will be forced to disable my loyalty system soon. I will be very thoughtful going about this! First, the December 1st restock will allow anyone ready to redeem a coupon the ability to do so. If points eligible for coupons remain, I will manually issue coupons to those customers before shutting down the system. 

It’s a strange sort of sadness to have felt like you finally found your niche and then have to walk away. I have been mourning this loss quite keenly over the last couple of weeks. I hope you will continue to support me when you can and I will be forever grateful to all of you. 🍄🌲🐰🌲🍄
