Forecaster Calder Seamoss does live in the Goodwill Grotto, but he does so begrudgingly. Every day before the sun rises, he makes the short journey to the seaside. He spends his days pacing along the ocean shores and cliffs; he does not return to the warren until well after moonrise. As a last resort, the most extreme cases of warren mediation are sent to find Calder on the beach. This directive alone is usually enough to encourage parties to submit to lesser forms of mediation and resolve their differences right there at the Grotto. The few parties that do see Forecaster Calder always return with a newfound unbreakable bond, almost as if they survived a trying ordeal together. As they will not speak of their time at the ocean, we may never know!
